The Global Academy for Local Governance offers three programs in this category, namely:
Certificate in Local Government Studies
Certificate in Local Government Administration
Certificate in Local Government Leadership
Each program comprises 4 courses. Each course consists of 8 hours of instruction giving a total of 32 hours per program. These courses would lead to certification after participants would have completed the required course work and final examinations. Alternatively, a certificate of completion can be awarded.
To gain meaningfully from these courses, participants should have some level of post secondary school education and be in local government practice. However, consideration will be given to persons who do not satisfy these criteria.
